13 and 14. Here lie my needles x 2

So, I seemed to have had a bit of a hiatus between a Happy Dance in February 2012 and my next two in June of that same year (a trip to the U.S in between plus working full time most probably had something to do with it).  Anyway, in June, I finished two versions of a freebie design from The Sampler Girl, "Here lie my needles".

This version was finished on the 4th June, 2012....

... and this one on the 11 June, 2012...

12. A Friend is a present you give yourself

This was stitched for  a Love and Friendship Exchange, February, 2012.

I made a  small cushion which I stitched using my Cottage Garden variegated threads (I really love these Aussie threads), in the package I also included a scissor and measuring tape pack, a lucky Chinese mobile phone charm (which I had bought in Hong Kong), some of that fabulous Australian made Udder Cream which I keep raving about, I cute nail file and a little circular fabric box for keeping little bibs and bobs in.

9, 10 and 11. Believe x 3

UCJC Day 4 Believe by The Sampler Girl X 3! Yep, I stitched this design three times yesterday - all in different colourways using Cottage Garden Hand-dyed threads (the same ones I am using for my Mary Wigham sampler - I just love them)
This is a freebie design which can be found here.

4. Christmas ABC

Shepherd's Bush Christmas ABC
Stitched on Wichelt Prairie Green 28t Linen
Using DMC threads 2 over 2
"Just Cross Stitch" 2011 Christmas Ornaments magazine

The suggested finish is a little pillow ornament finish but I am thinking of framing it because it was actually a lot of work.  It was very fiddly and if I ever did it again I would start in the top left hand corner, rather than the centre.

3. Butterfly

A sweet little butterfly for a notebook cover - which was a freebie in Cross Stitch Crazy.

2. Baboushka_7 September 2011

This is Baboushka which I think was a Travelling Pattern but for the life of me I cannot remember any other details - so sorry but eleven years ago is a lifetime in blogland - lol!  I do remember that I gave the finished and framed stitch to my DS2 for Christmas of that year, 2011.

(So sorry for the very poor quality of the photos but eleven years ago is also a lifetime in technology quality)

1. The Toy Shop

Mill Hill's Christmas Village series - "The Toy Shop". This was actually finished in 2010 and I think that I did frame it and then maybe gave it away but I am not sure - watch this space for an update - I will try to dig up a photo of it ironed and framed!
